Atlas America® visitor's insurance from HCC Medical Insurance Services provides valuable benefits and services with direct billing from many U.S. medical providers!
Atlas America® is visitor's health insurance with no medical underwriting and online enrollment!
When traveling out of your home country, consider planning for visitor insurance as a key component of your travel arrangements – a component that is just as important as booking a hotel or airline ticket. While no one intends to suffer an illness or injury, unfortunately, those problems can occur during international travel. Instead of risking your health and safety or incurring the high cost of overseas medical treatments, be prepared prior to leaving home.
Additionally, visitor insurance may not be optional. Some countries require travelers to show proof of medical insurance prior to issuing a visa. Verify with your embassy if medical insurance is required or visit the U.S. Department of State website to verify if this is required for your visa. Individuals who buy Atlas America insurance are provided with a “visa letter” showing proof of coverage which shows the visa holder's name, passport information, length of stay, and medical coverage maximums which can be taken to your visa interview appointment. When you purchase visitor health insurance from HCCMIS, you will also be given an Atlas America® identification card for when you seek care from a hospital or doctor so that the doctor or hospital can bill HCCMIS directly for your medical expenses.
As part of the planning process, do not assume that your medical insurance will travel with you. According to the U.S. Department of State, many medical providers do not cover medical costs outside your home country. Your medical insurance may not reimburse you on claims for any overseas visits. Atlas America insurance can be the perfect solution for those who need visitors insurance in the USA.
