Does Atlas International meet visa requirements?

As an international traveler, you may need a visa in order to gain entry into certain countries. Whether or not you’ll need a visa is determined by the countries you choose to visit and your country of citizenship. The type of visa you’ll need is dependent on the purpose of your travel.

Some international visas require proof of travel medical insurance that meets strict requirements.  One such visa is the Schengen visa, required by international travelers who will be traveling to and within the 26 European countries comprising the Schengen Area. Atlas International insurance meets Schengen visa requirements and provides policyholders with access to a visa letter to serve as proof of coverage.

Learn more about the Schengen visa here.

Even if your visa does not require you to have travel medical insurance, travel authorities like the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. Department of State still recommend that you purchase health coverage for your global travels.
